All Winter season and going into Spring as well, I’ve been trying to get myself into new lip colours. For the past year I’ve been obsessed with every shade of red. In 2015 I decided to try some purples, pinks and of course, orange! You know what they say… orange is the new everything! I’ve been trying new shades of orange lipsticks.

The orange shades I’ve been loving so far are Suedeberry, Countess and What a Blast!

Lime Crime Velvetines Liquid Lipstick in Suedeberry is a great orange lip shade. Described as the texture of a rose petal, Suedeberry goes on liquid but dries matte. “Touch-proof, transfer-proof and utterly addictive.” Read my full review here. I do love it. It’s a great lip colour. It’s just not one of those “wear everywhere” lip product.

If you’re looking for something easier and more low maintenance, I’ve also been loving Kat Von D lipstick in Countess. Described as hot matte orange red, this lipstick makes me feel on fire. I’m partial to matte lippies and Countess is no different. It’s the perfect balance of red and orange with just the right tint of bright va va voom! I can’t go very far in my lip game without a great liner – so whenever I’m using Countess, I pair it with M.A.C Cosmetics Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in What a Blast! It’s such a fun combo, you really can’t go wrong.
