A few people have asked me about the For Like Ever poster in my apartment. Ever since I saw it on the cover of Lucky Magazine, I knew I had to have it. In fact, it’s the foundation on which I decorated my entire apartment.

As soon as I signed the lease to my apartment, I ordered the For Like Poster from a creative font shop called Village Type & Design. But it seems once the poster appeared on the front cover of Lucky, business for the poster boomed. They’ve now created a separate site called Super Rural where the poster, in different colour variations can be ordered from. The poster ships from New York and took about 3 – 4 weeks to arrive to me in Toronto. I ordered the pink and red version, sized 24 x 36 inches. I paid $60 USD for the poster and $25 USD for shipping.

The poster arrived rolled up in a shipping tube. I had it framed at The Allen Gallery in downtown Toronto. I can’t remember the exact cost of the framing, but I do recall it was about $300 CDN. I had my For Like Ever poster framed with a one inch silver metal frame and a one inch white matte. It took about two weeks for the framing to be complete.

The For Like Ever poster is one of my favourite pieces in my apartment. I love how whimsical it is and now it’s become such a cult classic. For me, it was worth the extra investment and time to have something truly customized in my home. I know it’s something that I’ll have with me for a very long time.
